This is an old revision of the document!
Welcome little padawan to the help page of this beautiful wiki!
Here I will try to explain the basics of how it works.
Do not hesitate to modify and complete this page if you have any detail to provide.
The first step in contributing is to register / login. The link is at the top right. It's easy 😋
To experiment, don't hesitate to touch this page: PlayGround, it's made for that!
Here, we manage pages (like a sheet of paper) which has a content and a name. This name is lowercase, no accent, no space and in english. For example for the “Valiant Conquest” page, the page name is “valiant-conquest”.
The pages are organized in namespaces, categories. Basically they are files.
The first level is the language, then pnz then for example heroes then the pages linked to the heroes.
All content related to PNZ, must be in the pnz namespace. Do not put anything out.
The wiki works under a system called DokuWiki.
Going to a page, there is a menu on the right with different options:
When you click on Edit this page, you access an editor. By default this editor is the CKG editor, which looks like Word and quite simple. For “more advanced” functions, there is the DW editor, accessible via a button at the bottom of the page. You can switch from one to the other via the button in the editor. Whatever editor is used, there is a toolbar for the main functions: titles, bullet list, images, etc.
For any modification made in the page, do not forget to fill in the Summary box with what you have modified, and click on Save, otherwise it's lost !
Element n ° UNO to put in a page, it's title! This is a title of the highest level: Title 1. All other titles must be of a lower level; you guessed it: Title 2, 3…
The images can be loaded from the computer but be careful to put them in the right namespace. This is the same as the page. For example, an image on a hero must be in the heroes namespace.
Wrap blocks, those are blocks allowing nice small layouts: Warning blocks, multiple columns… To access them, you have to click on the last button of the toolbar. There are for both editors without distinction:
It gives you access to these blocks:
